It certainly doesn't offer the performance, and Android phones never have. If I look at the 6a, it offers marginally better performance than the iPhone X, and that came out in 2018.
This is pretty disingenuous I think. Other than Android who is using RCS?
Why can't I message between WhatsApp and an RCS client. Or any other chat technology, how about Google Chat to RCS, or Slack to RCS, or anything else.
Their examples for 'the modern standard adopted by most of the mobile world': Motorola, OnePlus, Google Pixel, Samsung, Snapdragon are all providers of Android phones, so clearly they would use the default Android messaging service.
I have a few folk (mostly family) who uses Apple messaging, everyone else seems to be on WhatsApp.
Bitwarden for me. I've been using 1Password from around 2013 I think. I didn't buy into their subscription model so they've been gouging me with difficulties and cost in buying upgrades for a few years.
Apparently they have 500 members of staff these days, and millions and millions of investor dollars. Apart from maintaining browser extensions, for my own personal use I've not noticed a single interesting feature in recent years.
I moved to Bitwarden when the electron thing was announced, haven't paid any subscription yet and seem to have all the features I used before in 1Password. Bitwarden is very much recommended and I wouldn't recommend 1Password to anyone these days.
I use Postbox on Windows at least. Have done for years. Far from perfect, based on Thunderbird so under the hood pretty solid, and looks and feels better mostly.
I think this is slightly changing at Apple, and in my opinion will slowly make things much worse.
One of the first things Steve Jobs on returning to Apple did was to cull what he felt were unnecessary products, and product groups. You could argue that Apple is large enough now to have thousands of products, but what was clear is that Jobs had the defining vision and no single person can have a single defining vision of thousands of products.
To use your example you cannot create a camera division and not allow inter-group communication because you are then building products in exactly the same way as someone like Sony. You end up with disconnected systems, nothing integrates together well and in-fighting between the groups.
I remember looking for a 32" Sony TV a decade or so ago, and there were 5 or 6 different models all at slightly different price brackets and with different discounts everything became muddled. Sony of course were simply capturing every portion of the market they could, from the person who wanted the cheapest to the person who wants the best.
I'd like to see Apple re-focus, make single models of iPhone, iPad, MacBook, iMac and the Apple Watch. Stop trying to capture as much of the market as possible and just focus on a limited number of highly integrated devices.
I also have the Voyage, at the time the Paperwhite was a lower resolution so the Voyage was a better choice - but there is no question I'd buy the newer paperwhite now instead.
When you say the voyager is buggy when you try and turn pages what is the issue? I have a problem with the (stupid, hateful) haptic buttons. The ones on the right mostly both go backwards, periodically it works as expected. I thought this was a hardware fault, but maybe you are experiencing the same issue?

I haven't got any plans for it as a website, I use the domain for email. Putio is how my son used to pronounce computer when he was small. I asked what they were offering, it was a token amount and I preferred to keep it.
I own the putio.com domain and they approached me when they first launched to buy it, presumably to redirect to put.io but maybe because of these rules.
