That's awesome! I'm going to work on a script that will scrub the array of domains that are already registered. That way, you should always be able to generate an available domain.
I know that Network Solutions does that, but I don't think namecheap.com does that. I hit one domain a few times while testing and it was always available.
We still have two keynotopia bundles from Appsumo to give out for free. Just Follow @thestartupcafe on Twitter. Tweet: “I love @thestartupcafe for giving away 3 #keynotopia bundles (worth $120) courtesy of @AppSumo http://bit.ly/eBjq8e”. Bonus points if you include a picture of your morning beverage of choice.
I've definitely got the drive and determination to push this blog to the forefront. I've been kicking my own butt to make sure that there's always a new post M-F. I've also been asking for advice/feedback and looking at analytics to see what's working and what's not.
As for Paul at The Foundry, we're chatting on the phone tomorrow. I hope he'd consider contributing :)
Hey there! A couple of friends and I have started a blog Called The Startup Cafe. We're trying to make it a place where entrepreneurs can share their stories of success and or failure so that we all can learn a few lessons and hopefully not repeat past mistakes. Were only about 2 weeks old so Id love any feedback you can give. Thanks!
I'd be interested to find out how many people go to startup weekend with pre-determined teams and use the weekend as a way to jump-start their project.
I've changed the submission page so that anybody can submit a post to be featured on The Startup Cafe. I want The Cafe to be a place for all tech entrepreneurs to share their stories, experiences and knowledge with the rest of the community.
There's definitely a growing community. We're hoping to help build it too. I'm that there are tech communities all over the country. Especially in places I never expected like North Carolina! I'm hoping that The Cafe can be a place where any tech entrepreneur, regardless of experience and location can contribute and learn.
That would be awesome! There's no need to be a regular contributor. I've changed the format of the page, so you can simply submit there and I'll help you get it posted with all of the appropriate credit, links and such. Good luck at the Startup Weekend too!
We'll always try our best to deliver content that is valuable and entertaining for our readers. We've put together an editorial calendar that I hope everyone will enjoy! Thanks for pointing out the h1 problem!
