I still don't understand why Clojure isn't a Lisp. Because it's built on the JVM? Because it encourages using immutable data structures? Because it's becoming popular? Someone point out the key paragraph I missed connecting "Clojure is imperfect and hyped" to "Clojure is not a Lisp".
What do you think they care about? Tell them that. Verbose is almost definitely the wrong direction. You've given us almost no detail so I can't offer any more advice.
My impression is that the internet's elite click almost no ads, so Google as a profit-seeking entity doesn't necessarily care too much about what they do or think in aggregate, as long as they don't get upset enough to be heard by people who actually make up their revenue streams.

This seems to neglect the greater revenue or decreased costs the employer also enjoys as a result. "Fewer total hours are worked = a less productive economy" looks transparently wrong.
A rice cooker automatically goes from "high" to "low" once the temperature inside is above 100C (once all the water has boiled). A slow cooker does not.
