Thanks for sharing. I went through a similar process recently, manually stitching together fire insurance maps from my hometown. A large part of the business district burned down in 1916, but maps from a couple of years earlier survived. It worked, but it was tedious. This would have saved a lot of time. Here's the link if anyone wants to check it out: https://fire.gorch.com/
Became more fascinated with the history of my small hometown (Paris, Texas) TLDR: Much of it was wiped out by a 1916 fire. I spent some time recently vibe-coding this interactive map to provide some kind of historic visualization ( which enabled me to see the impact better )

Creator here. I add the static to mask the video buffering ( since each channel change triggers a video load ) I'm flattered though that you think of me as young. I very much was a child of the '80's :D
For fun I stitched together a map of my hometown from older fire insurance maps ( taken in 1914 ) Ironically much of the downtown area was destroyed by a fire two years later.
As others have said, I hope this applies to "resort fees" What makes it worse is many hotels having this hidden charge in parallel advertise a "complimentary" breakfast.
Pretty cool stuff, can this be easily used to augment videos with translated subtitles? And if so, I'm assuming it would be fast enough to do so in real-time?
Nice job! This reminds me a bit of a space puzzle game I made a while back ( the premise of which is to rotate the hexagon tiles to create a pathway from the player character to the orb in each level )
Interesting, I always thought of Mass Effect as a spiritual successor to Sentinel Worlds 1: Future Magic. Never played Star Control though, may need to check it out.
