If you aren't trying to send MLAT data to more than one server, it isn't an issue. You can do MLAT to, say, adsbexchange, and non-MLAT to flightradar24.
Seeing as companies like Harris build equipment for both running and spying on cell networks, it may make sense for them to offer a tower-mounted system...

It's a tool to aggregate location/safety statuses submitted by many people in the same protest.
I'm interested in how the site verifies reports. The purpose of this app is very similar to Ushahidi, which has some basic vetting tools for editors/organizers.
In the tutorial, it just says something like "sukey will check your report and broadcast it" -- how will this look if thousands of people submit reports at once?

in WEP's case, your AP would receive an auth response encrypted with the keyphrase... you'd have to get quite a few of these to deduce the password, in general. people find it easier to just sniff traffic and deduce the key from all the traffic generated from someone downloading crap.
i don't think this is at all realistic with wpa.
you could just set up an open network with an equivalent essid, but that's nothing new is it? :)
Do you know if this was the case specifically with the magicjack device?

It's an interesting tack to take, and I'm very curious about whether the stalled product launch was due to regulation/legal issues, or if magicjack abandoned it for another reason.
