Apple Lisa is 40 years old source code is now open source
I worked at the US Army ATCOM base migrating databases and programs from an IBM Mainframe to Windows 3.X using Access and SQL Server and Visual BASIC. We kept the IBM Mainframe and HP/UX databases and programs to compare to the new ones. If the results where the same, we were good enough to switch over. If the results are different, time to debug the modern programs.
I earned my stripes as a Super Debugger by fixing other people's mistakes and bugs. Sure you are going to have them, you have to debug your way out of it.
You can ask an AI like GROK for an opinion on something, then disagree with it, and it says you are probably right and tells you what you want to hear. Like a Yes-Man.
https://security.apple.com/blog/expanding-pcc/ Private Cloud Compute will use Google and Nvidia as outside companies. Apple formed a partnership instead of building its own AI Data Centers; it rents time on Google and Nvidia's infrastructure.
The USA is still building AI Data Centers: https://cleanview.co/data-centers/us Losing most of the countries as customers will cause a loss of income. It is that simple. Most of these data centers have a negative ROI right now, and when the bubble pops, the sh*t will hit the fan.
We have Welfare Capitalism, which is considered socialist like Social Security, Welfare, and Disability. A social safety net is needed in case people get old or hurt, or can't work a job.
They want to get rid of burner phones so spies and terrorists won't be able to use them anonymously anymore. This is just like when the FBI got the unlock code for iPhones to read a terrorist's locked iPhone; now they can unlock any iPhone.
When my mother was alive, a Kevin Gates claimed to be a timeshare lawyer and would sell her timeshare. She didn't know Kevin Gates was a rap star. Suspect the scammer used a fake name. Asked her for a retainer and not to tell anyone of her friends and family about it. Told her to tell the moneygram it is for her grandchildren. He got $10,000 out of her before we found out. Money she could not get back. Social Engineering is a scammer's tool against older people.
