This may be a huge ego trip or pure gatekeeping, but I never wrote anything that I expected people to run, look at the pretty pixels, and be done.
You cannot be truly impressed if you don't know the effort to put that art into a tiny file or abuse the hardware in ways never seen before. If you never fired a debugger or other development/reverse engineering tool, then you missed most it had to offer. And IMHO you never connected to the artist in any way.
Every single one of you who use chrome daily, both on desktop or mobile, is directly contributing to Google being able to do this.
If Chrome was one of two or three browsers, google would have to at least pretend to play nice. Google is doing exactly what they accused Microsoft of trying to do in the famous Google vs Microsoft, strong arm W3C and define standards in their self interest.
At least Microsoft gave us ajax. Google just stole an AGPL browser, changed the license and marketed it heavily with the money they were giving to mozilla.

No, Google have never promoted video from other sites, only youtube. And they got away with it because to most users, video is youtube indeed.
Now that they have competition, that youtube cannot compete, they decided to give in and finally show video on their searches. And that is shocking everyone in this thread.

Fun fact, most docker hosts will allow access to all your files anyway! (specially true on docker for mac, which all the cool kids(tm) here are using). Even if you restrict container host-FS access to a source repo dir, mind rogue code changing your .git hook scripts in there or you might run code outside of the container when committing ;)
Another slightly relevant fun fact, USB is a bus. That means that any device can listen in on any other device. And USB access is given by default to some X-enabled docker (--tty something), and to most virtualbox machines (including the hidden one running the fake docker linux host on docker-for-mac), and more recently Google-Chrome. ;)
both of these codes are awful imo. but real world code always is, so that's not a valid critic.
usually when code pass over errors they are just ignoring design holes and offloading the work to fix the design to the end user, but that's also how real world programs are architected every day.

They still do not have usb3 support for epci, display, or charging. basically stuck in 2016.
The Radio/Video switches are nothing but cutting the power to the USB bundled peripherals. there's no special driver or anything else. Though still better than the majority, but far from the best with truly integrated solutions.
And support have been non-existent. And their forum used to be a bunch of people asking basic questions about their rebranded gnome, but lately it is a flood of "amateur android specialists" (adb script kiddies. thinking of so many puns now) threads on the librem5 phone... if you know the kind of content you get on xda forums, it's the same level.

This is the same thinking of apple. People install random apps so let's restrict apps to the point the user cannot have a text editor on their phone! meh! This is all dumb!
Now it is impossible to have the choice to install an addon for tweaking hidden options. Everyone should live with the crap that is about:config and user.js (or only about:config, because they thought user.js too dangerous on mobile too!)
I trust an open source browser by random people, why not an open source addon that gives me the functionality i need?
Exit nodes are Tor worst feature. And it undermines the whole effort!
Makes node operators liable for all sort of legal crap. It is the best thing for Spammers. Every service of note have already blocked them all (all the ones listed publicly, but if you choose not to, you are liable for even more legal crap)
