I finally completed my self published beginner Android programming book earlier this year. I took a break and now I'm working on updating it to add more Kotlin examples.
I wrote the book in markdown and used Pandoc to convert it to print ready PDF.
SCRUM is toxic. It is toxic because it dis-empowers the developers who are doing the actual work and hands that power over to the "SCRUM master". The SCRUM master is the ultimate bureaucrat -- and a proxy for Management -- in a heavily bureaucratic methodology. The job of the SCRUM master is to guard and protect the SCRUM process. Often to the detriment of the developers and ultimately the project.

Can someone explain the link of the lowered life expectancy to flu and pneumonia? I thought that these were deceases that were only fatal for people with compromised immunity.
We as the collective tech community brought this onto ourselves. We did not self regulate ourselves. We did not take out customer's privacy serious enough. Therefore, big government stepped in and regulated us.
I presume that expectation was that the human driver was suppose to be fully engaged to take evasive actions if and when required. What jumps up at me if that fact that the system does not alert the driver when his/her intervention is required.
Yep. On a human level, I really hope the PM is okay. Maybe open source communities can setup a way for core team members to check in on each other on personal level.
