Oculus feels fine to me, more comfortable then the index at least. Though for the index I've switched to prescription lenses which is obviously the most comfortable choice.
Pattern matching is distinct from switch cases, this is where the "odd" behavior people are taking issue with stems from. If it were a switch case statement, the case behavior would behave differently.
I agree, but part of it I think is more finely grained permission requests. ie. Distinguishing viewing X's data, vs viewing data as X. That still doesn't solve the issue where the typical person doesn't actually read permission requests, but should still provide better security.
But also, going by your logic, whatever is going on here is because something was depirioritized in favour of profit. The issue with that though, is that improper deletion would be detrimental to metrics in my opinion, not positive.
