Seriously, Firefox's built in RSS handling works great. Why are people so uptight about losing a service (provided by a company notorious for canning services like this, no less) that they access via a program that provides the same functionality? It's just stupid, and I really wish everyone would just collectively shut the fuck up and just move on. No, this is not an apocalypse, no this is not the end of your internet.

You say that as though the goal is to "win" the war on drugs. It's not. The goal is to get rich by supporting the war on drugs, without doing anything to actually "fight" it. I mean, why would you voluntarily get rid of a huge, risk-free profit center?

And if that sounds crazy, my last implementation of the GoL was built for micro-optimization... my field space was a 1D array that held both the current generation and the swap space for the next generation. So I could see things being made slightly more simple by having the draw space semantically match the logic.

Lotus Notes is without question the single worst piece of software I have ever used. It needs to fucking die. It is a terrible client, backed by a pointlessly-expensive server, that's slower than the competition, while offering exactly zero benefit. It is shit. I absolutely refuse to work for another company that uses Lotus Notes. If they hire me, then I discover they use Notes, I will walk. Because... fuck everything about that. Never in my life have I used a piece of software that was so persistent about giving me reasons to despise it. Good lord.
Closed and ignored. Why? Because, Ecmascript-inspired, yet turns both null and undefined into...... nil. That.... is just plain a lack of thought. Is it null? Great, it's null. Not nil. null. Just like the language you're basing this on. Don't arbitrarily change constants for no reason.
