if you want to "whatsapp" someone, you both have to have the app installed.

looks pretty close to DeskSMS. they seem similar.

the problem with the "phone off" thing is -- then you don't get texts to your # at all.

I hope carriers will work with MightyText to do direct integration.

yes the difference is that it integrates directly with your android phone # and sms.

been using it for a few weeks, really like it.
