I own a T400 and it saved my back twice when sliding on ice. After 5 years of taking it everywhere, it looks like it was barely used.
I love it, but damn... a P8600 Core 2 Duo in 2013 is noticeably slow even in browsing.
No experience with DO, but RamNode is very good. I've been a customer for over a year, and I rarely had any downtime. Disk speed is between 300MB and over 1GB (on SSD), network speed can go over 70MB/s.
this is exactly what I've been looking for.
I was thinking of using a small truecrypt container with btsync but it wouldn't work well due to container size being always the same, sync being possible only after unmounting the TC container and so on.
quick question here: is there a delay in Recent Activity?
I just signed up and used it on two servers like 30 minutes ago, but I don't see anything in the account activity except the payment info.
I'm quite sure my servers sent stuff because I monitored b/w usage
