After trying many different tools and being disappointed by either bank integration or being locked into a proprietary budget format I settled on using a spreadsheet.
I would love to use it for Go programming but I'm so used to vim key bindings that it's hard to switch. I can use IntelliJ because their vim plugin is pretty good; anything of similar quality for VS Code?
Recently moving from Python to Java. `pip` doesn't even come close to Maven. Dependency management used to be something I needed to manage much more closely in Python. With Maven, it just works.

With Kafka specifically the consumers of messages use standard TCP to receive messages by pulling them from Kafka. Kafka is not a push system. Consumers can come and go in and ad-hoc fashion.
It seems like I am in the minority here but I see nothing wrong with making a required government process more efficient. The companies in question would have to provide this information anyways and streamlining the process seems logical.
I understand your point but no fine should be levied? This kind of behaviour should be discouraged and a fine is entirely appropriate to discourage it.
