Not the OP but here in the UK there's a separate category of fridge-freezers called "American Fridge Freezers" which are typically the huge ones you describe.
Everybody I know has a fridge-freezer, but not many of those are "American Fridge Freezers".
I take your point, but I don’t feel it’s disingenuous to take the quote at face value.
Maybe the quote lost some context but talking about “...levels of voting...” being a negative thing seems like a pretty obvious admission of a desire to suppress votes.
I just read I Have America Surrounded[1] a biography of Timothy Leary and found it fascinating. His descriptions of levels of consciousness are a bit wacky but I think helped me understand the appeal of psychedelics.
I assume Timothy Leary is a pretty divisive figure for some, I didn't know a lot about him before reading, so went in with a relatively open mind.
I think the responder misread your message and assumed you were adding a suffix like \+\w+ to the end of your email addresses like
[email protected] -> [email protected]
Several email providers treat a + symbol as the end of the first part of the address and ignore everything between it and the @.
I think the responder’s point was that analytics providers just ignore things after a + too
This was the same for me. I think it’s because it was a line-level GitHub comment and the line has now changed.
It is possible to expand the post if you click “Show Outdated” on the two collapsed posts underneath the comment saying:
The lead engineer/designer on the project makes this claim in these slides. I don't know whether this gives the claim more veracity in your eyes, but it's there.
When this is the case it’s often nice to state this conflict of interest, so others can take your appraisal in the appropriate context.
