I agree with you.
Browsers are alot like operating system. They are all good for basic tasks but once you get into it, some are good for different tasks.
IE10 metro is fast and has a great UI. But it lacks flash and plugins.
Some people will switch to FF to use the plug ins. Some people will use Chrome Metro (They will eventually build one) to use the Google account integration and app store.
So at the end of the day Browsers are just like any other app. Whats the big deal?
Well tech crunch is much more focused on startup and tech. Mashable has lately turned into Hoffington Post. They cover everything from startups to world news and politics
I have V-Moda Crossfades LP2
They have been fantastic so far. They look awesome and sound great.
During my research I found that the headphones you buy really depends on the type of music you listen.
This might be a good idea if you get stickers from more popular startups (Tumblr and Foursquare comes to mind).
Having stickers on your laptop has turned into a fashion thing. I went to the TechStars Demo presentation yesterday and many people had stickers on their laptops.
For most apps the speed that the web provides is going to be sufficient however there are some resource intensive apps like games that will stay on the native environment. Just like the desktop os.
Even games on the native environment is being challenged by OnLive.
I think they need to be separate.
Paypal is still a great tool for transactions and I don't see a true competitor any time soon.
Ebay on the other hand is getting worst everyday. I visited their own forum and it is filled with extremely disgruntled sellers. The entire site is a complete mess.
I saw post on /r/startups about a ebay competitor in the works.
Me too. The second I read i thought it was a good idea. Just the other day I was thinking of creating smarter kitchen appliances, I think this is the way to go.

Keep making stuff until it "makes it" Same thing as Color. Oink was aiming at a 4sq + instagram hybrid. Didn't achieve the set goal. Time to move on
