Colored functions are good. It reflects the language design on signaling what is important, and what are the properties it want the writer to pay attention.
Other examples of colored functions:
* Haskell: pure function and non-pure (IO monads) looks different.
* Rust: unsafe functions (or block) requires special markers.
prepositions p(a) -> q(a) can be thought as super set relationships. Let P = {a | p(a) holds} and Q = {a | q(a) holds) then p(a) -> q(a) and the statement P is subset of Q is the same.
One issue I found with computer based setup when working is that... there are 2 of them.
When I was in college I had folders of notes and it's read and updated regularly. Once I got issued a work laptop; the personal one sometimes don't get turned on in days... and rapidly became outdated.

The LOD law suit made FB unable to get any approved green card app since last few months of Trump.
This is the top reason why Indians & Chinese are not taking FB roles.
It has been recently resolved. If hiring gets better for them I'd attribute it to green cards than the rename.
I used to work for a company that has the standard "Meet Expectations" / "Exceeds Expectations" performance review every 6 month. Some European coworker felt the need to make a ppt titled 'euro-perf' to teach Europeans how to write performance feedback. Apparently words like "Good", "OK", "decent" etc meant slightly below median, and words like "Amazing" meant slightly above median for Americans. An European coworker also told me that he used to think a solid track record of Meet Expectations is very good and worthy of a promotion.
