Anybody else having trouble with S3? I don't have actual stats, but I'm noticing a lot of latency and poor performance starting recently, so I'm assuming it's related.
The game as played by random scrubs and the game as played by professionals is entirely different. There's an immense depth of strategy, but it can be hard to see if you're inexperienced.

I was thinking about this and remembered the "task completion" service. Their example is Flickr uploading, which is keeping a connection open for an indefinite amount of time, so it seems likely that IM clients would manage.
This is retarded. I don't read news for opinion, I read it for facts and _reasoned_ interpretation. There's some value in opinion pieces but not nearly to the extent or in the manner that this author says.
That's a terrible justification. I've never seen the site before today, but from reading the other comments it sounds like it wasn't just an insignificant interface change, as was generally the case with Facebook, but a dramatic change in the of the site.
I agreed, until I realized that what they meant is that videos that currently have ads are entirely unavailable with HTML5, not that the ads won't display. That would be a bit of a pain to never have fixed.
