Exactly, I already choose Macs as the build time on a 15” MacBook Pro from 2015 is half that of a 2016 XPS 15” running Windows 10. It’s twice again if you use WSL on the Dell. Fedora natively on the Dell gets a lot closer to the Mac
I really hoped this would be good but in it's current form it just seems too unstable and small incompatibilities that screw you. I ended up going nix vm on my work issued XPS 15 and things are going great.
9 months into my first developer gig and the company is taking a change of direction which involves making half the office redundant. I've opted for VR as it feels like staying would just be delaying the inevitable.
