You mean the first version of Symfony (Symfony 1, which was monolithic like Rails), and not the current Symfony (Symfony 2/3) which has nothing to do with the old one other than the name.
The Universe is expanding, and some parts will never interact with other parts, because not even light could make the trip. One could say they are now in separate universes. So that's one limit I can think of.
Intelligence maybe, but sentience? We haven't made any progress in that. We don't even know if science will ever be able to figure that out. See: the hard problem of consciousness.

Core is not Bitcoin, it's just one of many clients that follow the Bitcoin protocol. There is no such thing as an "official" client or anything else in Bitcoin.
The block reward only halves, it doesn't "go away". Unless you are talking about when it can't halve anymore because of the 8 decimals limit, which we could just remove, just like Satoshi wanted (same situation as with block size limit).

But removing the need for big pharmacological laboratories definitely makes it better. No more ridiculous prices, no more hidden corporate interests, etc. Just you and your plant, like nature "wanted" it to be.
