thank you fellas for your comments, they are definitely helpful. for now, i'm finding a way to extract bios (biographies) from twitter, instagram and FB for research purposes; later I plan to scale that up to include other social media platforms (Youtube, LinkedIn, ...)

I am thinking it as use APIs for it (if they exist) or build a crawler to scrape the data.

is it something that can be done without violating any law?

fall asleep while browsing through playlists. alarm on. wake up. get up. look out for clothes. brush teeths. wear shirt,jeans collect pen, pencil, IDs, ATMs, Credit Cards, smartphone, earphone, few change banknotes and coins. wear shoes (without socks). pick-up bag ith a notebook. gulp down a glass of cold water. buy mentos from Jmart. ask for lift. walk to office. shows ID to security guard at the complex. choose a path with less sunshine. walk. wait for the lift where i could be adjusted w/ my bag. greet and smile to the floor guard. punch-in. plug-out earphones. smile and greet every1 on the way pulls-off the bag press turn-on button of PC bypass disk encryption three finger salute bypass OS login F5 F5 F5 three hand salute go and re-fill water bottle

exactly, i need to access internet at a place where you can not find even a single cell-phone tower or a fiber-optic link in 100-150 km radius through VSAT dish antenna (as only DBS-TV works over there).

but then...the SIM must camp to the nearest BTS site to get the signal. how do i bring the strength closer enough to picked-up by the router?

rural enough to not to get a line-of-sight from a BTS (zero signal strength in cellphone overthere) can spent money enough to serve, can not bear much loss.
