I run product at Fullstack Academy (parent school of Grace Hopper, www.gracehopper.com) and can say that the students who come through GH are some of the most talented and motivated students we see.
The all-female environment is special. It's a "safe" and nurturing environment, as the students work together through a <very> rigorous program.
And the hiring outcomes (180 days+ after graduation) are positive:
We're big on transparency...e.g. soon we'll be publishing aggregate data about the outcomes for our students. We could apply the same approach to the startups that we fund.
Hey emeth...thanks for making this awesome project. As a father of 2 sons (aged 9 and 11, both Minecraft fanatics) this is a perfect platform to get them interested in coding. Starting with Python is a nice easy on-ramp for them, and they'll even start using GitHub with this project, which is great too. Keep up the cool work :)
