What happens in cases like AWS where the Base salary is 170k and Bonus is in Millions of dollars - will the previous company only pay 85k and get away with it ?
The one surprising aspect about google domains - it is not integrated into Google cloud.. they are two separate products while AWS domain registration is part of aws cloud
To my knowledge - as an US immigrant, who has worked both in India and US - decisions everywhere are made by Managers (Non-Developer Ones) and Executives - they have weird power dynamics that they need to see their subordinates physically to ascertain their power or influence in the company...thats it - that is what is stopping every programmer being remote
there are so many power features that were removed after OneNote 2016 - it makes using Onenote obsolete nowadays - hate to start using another note taking method now
they might have ruined it for people paying for Notion Personal

What if I had multiple members in my free workspace?
No worries, you don’t have to remove anyone! Nothing is different for you until you hit 1,000 blocks of content. At that point, if you want to add more, you can:
Upgrade to our Team Plan.
Start a new workspace for just yourself and use it for free, indefinitely.
Remove members, and enjoy no content limits on your own.
Note: Make sure members in your workspace have their private pages backed up before you remove them!
This is so True, as an immigrant - I have changed jobs and every orientation when talking about benefits does not break down the cost to the employee - resulting in "just sign here" so we can be done with everything mentality
So much this - you have to go from least popular to most popular terms to get accurate results - there is a weightage penalty of how further the word is from the start of the query.
if you search "Javascript issues Rshiny" (this is just an example not the actual query) - you only get javascript results for 4 to 5 pages of results.. when you reverse it to "Rshiny Javascript issues" - the results are better
Why do you think Amazon/Google is not in the same space - with Cloudwatch, X-ray and other similar tools from Google - they are in the same space - even though the egress cost associated with Amazon/Google are low for constant data export from your server.. If I was looking from security perspective - its easier to integrate internally when you are running on any of the cloud providers
little feedback - there is lot of whitespace between the email subscriber form and the actual listing of the jobs.. you might want to move the listing to the top over the email subscriber form.
Am starting to feel this trolling is an industry (like troll farm) of its own - there are people or bots dedicated to trolling and reporting people who raise voice against the discrimination.. I recently had to report an unfair service by virgin atlantic staff after an emergency landing - I tweeted the pictures and video of the incident.. I was immediately trolled by twitter accounts about how i should be happy that I am alive - I was complaining about how the staff handled the issues after the emergency landing .. wish the social media companies could raise voice against companies or countries that use their platform to discredit real concern - guess people do not matter anymore
Very Interesting that the company that Supports Wework is in YC Summer batch [1]
> Narrator: Narrator is a full-service data team for startups of any size. The team behind Narrator built WeWork’s data infrastructure, and wants to target more startups as early customers. The company says they’re generating $91,000 per month with this business model, but they aren’t stopping there. Narrator wants to build as a cross-company universal standard for data and grow out this library of shared analyses. This strategy allows the company to repurpose the analyses they produce and offer it to new customers.
