Don't forget another stuck in the past minimal semantic css based web framework that's almost unusable on anything more complex than its own demo. Complaints about react too, because its new (its 13 years old).
I think skill is also an issue here, in both directions. I have worked with a company that followed the opposite of move fast and it just turned into a 'who is the most correct' and 'what is the most elegant code' competition. We didn't push out a single new feature in the three years i'd worked there at that point. There was so much focus on code that we gave almost no time to business requirements.
The wider implication of this was that the number of tickets we got dropped dramatically, because users knew they'd never be resolved anyway.
I don't think you understand where he's coming from, DA literally became filled with My Little Pony porn. I'm as open minded as can be but, that's too much, I also left for the same reasons.
Sadly by the looks of some of the replies here, never will recover from, since people seem unaware that it never used to do that, and would delightfully size itself to the content. This is the #1 feature that I really loved about Mac OS window management.
Projects like these will always have a special place in my heart, and I've always wished I could have a use case for professional applications developed inside environments like this, to serve as a bridge between the desktop and web world of user interface design.
