As a Meteorologist, I love this! There is one little thing to be aware of with using Purple Air for temperatures, though, as their primary purpose is AQI not temp, all temp data comes with this disclaimer. That said, everything is still at lease directionally accurate.

While I, as a Meteorologist and formerly involved in the TV business, I agree with you on using visuals entirely to overstate this, the fact that the field in the dome was set up before the storm to house thousands of electrical lineman and relief workers expected after the storm, says that the roof coming off was NOT an expected outcome from Milton, making it a reasonable way to tell the story on the news.
I live fairly close to the wonderful museum this is located at on Hill Air Force Base north of SLC.
This new exhibit is really neat but not very big, all things considered, and not worth the trip on its own.
What is worth the trip is the museum as a whole, with an F-117, the only SR-71C in existence, an F22, and all kinds of other planes and rockets - it's not Wright-Patterson, but it's one of the better USAF museums I've been to.

It's hard to envision the FiveThirtyEight brand without Nate Silver being involved in it. I know they are going to keep it going as a stats-driven site, but so much of it was built on Nate's original and unique approach to data.
I handed this to a 12-year-old and am now having trouble getting him off the site for day #2 in a row; between Space Elevator and the rest of Neal.fun it's a whole new world for him - love it!
I know a few people who have been hired at this facility but washed out in the training and testing program; the speed and accuracy required to work here is outstanding and evidently quite difficult to achieve.

I love launching rockets with my 11 year old but it's so hard to find a good spot these days where you don't end up with a police visit (that happened, worked out fine) or a risk of starting a wildfire, etc.
It's interesting because to me the idea of labeling these the way they are now, like "BROADCAST TV FEE" is in some ways, more clear and less of a "hidden fee" than bundling it in with the larger price and not saying why the price is, what it is.
What I do think is that the headline price - the deal, so to speak - should show the all-in full price including added fees, so if this gets us to that, I'm all for it.
I can't remember if this was someone I know or an urban legend, but I heard a story once of someone who grabbed a super glue from a purse thinking it was eye drops because the container shapes are so similar, and got super glue right in their eyes. IIRC they didn't lose vision but it was quite a mess.
TLDR don't store your super glue near your eyedrops.
