We are REMATIQ, an autoamtion platform for regulatory compliance in Life Science (Medtech & Pharma). We're hiring our second founding engineer on the product side to join us in our mission to enable more medical innovation.
If you are looking for a very entrepreneurial role, with above-market real equity, and broad ownership, drop me an e-mail at [email protected]
We’re hiring our 2nd & 3rd founding engineer. We are looking for Fullstack JS & Backend/ML Python Engineers (on-site in Berlin) and offer real equity far above market standards.

why is it actually that SQL "re-emerged" as the transformation layer? I thought that it first shifted from SQL to Query Builders inside talend, matillion etc. Why now SQL again?
Building Radar | Software Engineer | Munich, Germany | ONSITE
Building Radar is a fast growing, well-funded, Munich-based start-up where we work at the intersection of Data Mining and Machine Learning
to provide world's construction information in real-time to our customers.
We are currently looking to expand our team with the following roles:
- Backend Engineer, ideally with DevOps experience, to work on our Data Pipeline (Python, Docker/Kubernetes, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Redis)
- Front End Engineer or Full Stack Engineer to work on our Product (Angular, Pyramid, Elasticsearch, Postgres)
Does he think that the advice which YC gives, usually to software companies, (ship fast and iterate, make something people want, only talk to users and build the product) can also be applied to cars and space?
Would have wished for more concrete arguments. For example saying the startups there live in the past but not explaining the sentiment or giving examples really does not help me understand the situation in Berlin.
could anyone elaborate why exactly the referendum was mostly a vote on migration? I myself think that view (which is the basis of the article) is too limited
yes, we already have the far right in france and the netherlands calling for their own referendum, the EU can't risk losing these countries and others as well, so they are willing to go to great lengths to not give these countries more reasons to leave
8 vs 12 is a really big difference - especially with state of the art deep learning architectures. The problem isn't the size of the dataset but of the model. Large Convolutional Neural Networks often need the whole 12 GB VRAM of a Titan card for themselves and distributing over multiple cards/machines adds a lot of complexity.
Probably yes but I feel that general education is, especially in this community, a little undervalued. Democracy fundamentally depends on its population being educated and in more ways than just STEM. Better socioeconomic decisions are made if more voters are educated in areas other than programming (figuratively) and this is only achievable if this type of education is a viable path for young people, for example through tuition-free universities
