A single pass: paginating through all entries in the bucket without deletion, just to build up your index of files. And then using that index to delete objects in parallel.
Nice! very easy on-boarding/signup flow. The only hiccup I had was on the first screen for signup, the Facebook panel is so prominent (while the email signup is far less so) that I thought the only sign-up option was to use a Facebook account... almost closed the tab and moved on.
Honest question (I have no actual ASIC experience, I'm just curious)
Where are you getting the USD1500 price tag, I've just done a quick search and I only found a bunch of S9 Miners (Bitmain Antminer S9) advertised for over USD6000 on Amazon.
Are there similar services or sites for guidance or mentoring on devops and system administration problems? Or could the options already suggested here: https://www.codementor.io/ and https://www.airpair.com/ also be used in this way.
Do publishers act as a reliable source for validating your idea? or do you rely purely on your audience, if you can validate your audience directly then you'll be able to get a far more accurate prediction of demand for a book than from the opinions of a publisher's agents.
netlify looks great, and the free tier covers probably 90% of what all SMEs need. I'm curious, where are the sites actually hosted?
Does netlify provide the actual hosting or they allow you to setup deployment to a VPS? Also if netlify does the hosting, how good is their uptime/availability?
Github Pages does pretty much everything you've listed. Also Github Pages explicity allows companies to setup and host their corporate websites on there.
PROS: It is free, always available, and the deploy is easy once you get the hang of git.
Wouldn't a better option be an error log? you reply to the client that "I can accept 398,500 of your 400,000 submitted records, attached are the records that do not conform to the expected template. Choose either to (1) submit only the validated records and discard the malformed ones or (2) reformat the malformed records and resubmit the entire batch"
Managing one app on one machine (physical or virtual) is a significantly different problem from needed to manage dozens or hundreds of applications/servers.
When you need to automate the entire deploy process, possibly scale up or down the number of servers/services running based on demand, or to run the same operation across hundreds of servers: that is when you need Kubernetes. Trying to do any of these tasks manually when you're dealing with a large number of machines/services/servers becomes unmanageable very fast.
Since they are almost always on dubious looking ecommerce sites, or scammy betting or crypto web applications
