It has worked well in my experience when junior and even mid-level developers join a team, helping expose them not only to git best practices, but to the custom rules of their development team as well.
Seriously? No reason? They can build iPhones and iPads and grow their company to a multi billion dollar company, but they can't figure out how to update their homepage without shutting it down? Of course it's a marketing trick.
I would love to be a part of something like that, but I don't know of anywhere currently. If you want to get away from "new" entrepreneur, why not built a site called entrepreolder.

I've found that most of the time, the Google Traffic Estimate usually OVERESTIMATES how much traffic each keyword get. For example, I have the #2 google spot for a food keyword. I get about 1,500 visitors a month from Google for that keyword, but the traffic estimate tool estimates "74,000" searches for that keyword a month. So if 74,000 is really accurate, only 1,500 are clicking the second result
I'd say find a creative outlet, if that's hacking then so be it, but if it's writing or painting or just drawing for a couple of hours it can help to get things off your chest and clear your mind. That way when you're ready to work your mind won't be as distracted with these other problems.
I'm not mail list expert but I have a couple decent sized lists, and I usually use them to promote products I'm selling, or cross-promote some of my other websites. I've tried putting affiliate links at the end of the emails but that hasn't been very successful so far.
