Just for fun, I had Opus 4.8 Max write a UEFI "hello world" for my 2019 MacBook Pro. Haven't run it, probably won't. It took three prompts to get it to print the binary directly. Probably compiled it from C itself. Seems like we've created our own middle man. Here's my favorite ten lines:

I have no idea whether this works, my expertise lies elsewhere entirely, but if it does, does it change anything about how we code?
