Wow, this guy's wife must love being though of as a "past decision [he] need[s] to live with." Maybe it's just me, but that strongly implies "past decision you would not make again."
Already have a job I love, so I'm not interested, but I was surprised to see that you guys are in the building right next to where I work remotely from (Princeton Overlook). Nice to know there are other Python machine learning people close by.
Yeah, and the worst part is that GitHub doesn't even offer the same suite of services you get with the Atlassian ecosystem. It'd be one thing if it were a bit more expensive, but also included CI and a more full-fledged CMS like Confluence.
That said, ff they dropped the price, my team would switch in a heartbeat, because we use GitHub and Travis-CI for all our open source stuff.
