AirTags and police are worthless. I had an AT on AirPods that dropped in my apt garage. I could see them move into a secured area that Google leased. Called the cops’ non-emergency number. “Sorry, we have a 2 day backlog” Then, I watched them leave the area, go on a highway, and arrive at a house in a residential area. The police there refused to do anything until the other police did something. It doesn’t matter if you know where your property is, people are allowed to steal it and get away with it.
It’s a conspiracy to watch me do laundry. I have evidence on a wall of random photos and newspaper clippings pinned together with yarn made from ugly sweaters’ red dryer lint.
I think there’s a subset of people who make up and believe sinister intentions for a litany of motivations.
It’s simpler than there being shitty situations large and small for no individual reason if there’s someone or something in particular to scapegoat.
Laplink cables had DB-9 and DB-25 on both ends with the crossover built-in.
There were some male to male cables that had crossover while others didn’t. Then there were null modem adapter dongles for straight through cables. They were either male-female or male-male depending.
Reminds me about older Ethernet: before Auto-MDI/MDIX on most NICs and switches, crossover RJ-45 cables were needed.
