I work 30 hours a week and make 150/year. Reducing time worked is always my top priority.

Those 30 hours don’t include a second of Reddit or chit chat. Just work.

Any Spanish accents or word muddling will be much more understandable to anyone living in the United States than an Indian accent or word confusion.

This isn’t helped by the fact that Indians in tech in America rarely speak English with each other.

I have Indian coworkers who struggle with English, and on top of that we have 0 shared cultural background.

No media, no games, no shared experiences. It’s drudgery trying to come up with a conversation topic.

Game of thrones? Haven’t seen it. Latest games that came out? Don’t play them. Building an app? Nope no entrepreneurship. Dating? Nope arranged relationships, or no relationships.

It’s impossible and I hate every second I’m forced to deal with these people.

We have that in the US as well. And you do have interest - variable rate tracking inflation.

In the US, the minimum payment is $0 and forgiveness happens at 20 or 25 years.

We already have this system. There are income based repayment plans that cap and hire forgiveness at 20 years for undergrad or 25 for graduate.

It’s 10% of AGI annually for Revised pay as you earn.

Please don’t call for more government when we already have those solutions.
