Hi – this is a wonderful start towards solving a problem which seemed to have been relegated to the distant future.
I was wondering, do you folks support the 'aggregator' model - where a startup can simply serve as the facilitator of the payment without actually holding the money?
hmm - it is usually a wise thing to mention the source of such a statistic that reeks of overt generalisation. considering that this thread is about "cultural" aspects of human interaction - i believe, it's also correct to always mention sources, instead of the usual - i read somewhere, some report suggested, etc.
so far the total number of comments i've read about this article must be in excess of 150 - and i haven't found a single person buying into it.
i can vouch for one statistic - John Biggs' research is refuted by 100% of his readers. I believe it is fair to say that it is "excepted" that he needs to do his homework better.

that is quite untrue. it's more to do w/ unlearning the legacy of central repositories, checkout, checkins, copy-branching, etc - and that is not hard if you're sufficiently pissed off with them :]
