On the way, we capture and understand driving the world’s roads probably better than anyone else, with drivers from dozens of countries using Nexar for their commute or as part of their job. Since launching last fall, we have grown to the point where we’re over 20X larger than Google’s self-driving fleet, and we’re just getting started.
That’s where you get into the picture. We are looking for some really smart, really passionate, and really mission-driven people to bring into our growing team, and help us meet the scale and opportunity in front of us.

we have had a similar model: startupgiraffe, its been a great way to build a team, play with different technologies/verticals and invest (discount rates for equity) in startups. there are definitely a lot of pros/cons of the approach though.

I think you have to be able to convince someone why you will be successful. Most people want to see traction and idea validation before they join something (especially if there is no cash up front). Is there a way you can demonstrate that without the product?
It sort of depends what you are looking for: a partner or someone to execute?
* If you are looking for a partner describe your big vision, your near term goals and how you you are thinking of implementing them. Ask for suggestions, make sure you both believe the big picture and talk through the details.
* If you just want someone to build your vision give as much detail as possible. Show wireframes/designs of every screen with annotations.
I also like using product backlogs to define the functionality for projects. Make a list of every feature ranked by priority. Ask your tech partner to fill in the difficulty for each item to help you prioritize.
What about creating a paid premium newsletter using Letter.ly Perhaps send the premium daily and the free one weekly. Depending on your conversion rates it should be enough to cover expenses and gives you an opportunity to grow paid subscriptions into potentially meaningful income.
