Just finished migrating to it to replace pdf2docx in a new project I’ve been working on and it is so much better. Thanks for open sourcing OpenDataLoader-PDF!
Not really a direct alternative as it requires you to use their bank but I've used Qube money for years and love never having to import transactions.
Qube Money is a fintech startup where your debit card is controlled by an envelope based budgeting app. It's still early days so no check deposit but they have thriving Facebook group of users and it helps me be much more intentional about spending.
They even have some neat features similar to privacy.com where you can spin up virtual ACH/debit card numbers via "Bill Qubes". Not to hide your identity but make sure free trials stay that way.
A reminder for everyone that Authy allows multi device and backups in case you lose your phone. From my understanding Google Authenticator doesn't offer either of these.
Qube Money. After about 9 years of using systems that required us to import transactions, the tap to spend from virtual debit card method of Qube Money is a huge time saver!
Not state in blog post, one of comments mentions a $4 flat fee to use this feature: "On a $35 purchase, that's 11% of the purchase cost spread over one month. Annualized, that's an astounding 250% APY." https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/articles/introducing-...
I carry around an F1 Orchid Dumb Phone from Sunbeam Wireless (voice to text on it is awesome!) and try to leave my smartphone in my office and find I am more relaxed and have more time when I don't scroll HN and News as much. I still usually bring my smartphone when I leave home but I love spending evenings without it.
It's not offline or open source but I love Qube Money. No transactions to import because you choose category to spend from before you can swipe your Debit Card. For regular bills I still use a separate account/CC but this has allowed me and my SO to spend a lot less time budgeting.
I feel like PayPal is slowly degrading, I hope Stripe would find a way to modernize it.
