It occurs to me that it is unlikely that the disgruntled employee can afford the the same range of legal representation that Musk can. It also occurs to me that the Musk could find the discovery process most unpleasant.
Elon Musk tweets are very much boosted. Although a tweet I saw of him on my timeline (I don't follow him) said something about "if someone you follow follows me then that's why i'm appearing in your timeline". And yeah, that makes sense, except for the fact (for example) most people I follow also follow the president of my country but I'm not seeing every new tweet of the president on my timeline whereas not as many people follow Elon Musk yet every single one of his tweets shows. And often, it's the first thing I see when I load the timeline.
Ofc, the rules and algorithm being so obscure make it hard to say anything. It is most definitely strange that Elon Musk openly complains about his tweets not having as much engagement as he expects and a couple days later a "fix" of the algorithm makes him the most seen twitter user in the world.
For Elon Musk to pursue legal action against the person that said that (whether truth or not) just seems like an overreaction anyway.

I hope he can offload twitter to someone that cares about it.
If it happens, it will be involuntary, with the creditors taking possession of a bankrupt Twitter. That will only happen reluctantly, no matter how poor Elon's results. We're stuck with a man child with a megaphone for many months. Just be sure to keep blocking advertisers. Eventually the right people get the message.
