We'll see how that goes. Many political posts are shared by friends. I'd imagine a large amount of the political content they will hide is just opposing views, since that's what many people will complain about. Not to mention, many people probably don't recognize many topics/positions as political if they share the same position.
I know it won't happen, but going back to a chronological ordered feed would solve so many problems! No algorithm.
Once people have tasted blood, they will not settle for any other stuff.

That's useful most of all to FB, where plenty of political discussion is about how to put a leash on FB these days. Don't want users to be subjected to that now, would we?
Makes perfect sense - drug dealers don't want to kill their paying customers.
