Simple, I don't. Most of my purchases are from amazon, and I order and forget. I get reminded once I see it at my doorsteps.
There are few services which you can forward tracking number, and they update you when the status has changed.
UPS shows you how many days till delivery now, and you can have them remind you but it does not work too well, always delayed, but never the else I don't see it being useful as something like tripit at all
That's interesting, I also forgot to mention that my parents spoke punjabi, and I find myself understanding punjabi more so than hindi. While alike they are very different and often confusing.
First, forget about the dozen industry leaders who pledged to you. Also be honest with yourself in the possible future of this product. Odds are you are not the first.
Make sure if this is built you can succeed without their pledges.
Second, research,research,research the idea extensively.

Once you have done that if you are still interested in building it, either
1) ask a coder friend, or find a coder and put them on as co founder
2) outsource the development

The wire is the greatest show ever to land on TV. It has a novelistic approach which introduce characters slowly, however once they are established the show becomes almost too good. There will never be a show like this, ever. Please give yourself another chance, you will not regret it.
