Just remember the facts when wanting to give up.....regardless of each individual, life gives us all up and to where we go is uncertain, if anywhere. So, why give up? Its pointless, the thought of stopping what you pursue is an emotional complication with the mind. You look up at the sky and realize you ain't shit! So, just keeping trying to be the shit down here. Practice meditation and thinking positive. People are starving and homeless, never the less upset about a million dollar project moving to slow. Eliminate as much emotion as possible and filter out pure positive energy and your wildest dreams will come true.
I wrote a business plan 4 years ago with intentions of getting funded by Michael Dell. My biggest fear was getting that book in his hand. Well, I had 2 hours with him in Round Rock Texas and I personally know why apple and hp have diluted his market. I didn't get funding that day, but I realized when I do get funding how far I will advance beyond anyone's projection. Persistence is key to success, even selling shit to an asshole, keep at it and you'll be fine. Always advance your thoughts beyond and then find a way to make them happen. First comes the idea, then comes the passion, then comes a road that will change many times until it leads to your destination. I'm not technical and I battle everyday trying to find a co-founder to even listen about my visions and my outlook to all that dismiss my approach....fuck um, they'll be throwing up when they tell there children that I approached them before GTV and WORLDTIZE was a reality for the World. I'm currently working on launching 2 huge networks that profit mainly from advertising. The more interaction and innovative service offered to the user in return for them being subjected to the ad all depends on the grand scheme of the situation. If your site if providing content to read and your ads are not floating over the words or constantly popping up during the scroll, but they designated to a specific area and actually stay there, the user must understand those ads allow the content to be available.
Personally I'm blind to the ads, that's why my networks are designed to make sure you see and appreciate the ad being there because of how amazing the networks are, especially being free to the user.
The future of online advertisers lies in knowing specific interests of each internet user, creating an approval process to only allow the most creative and entertaining displays, and concentrating these ads into portals created for them to shine properly, not wasted at the top of a page that will be scrolled down almost immediately upon arrival.
The internet is to big and has to many offering to really cash in on this concept, that why the richest man in the World has yet to surface. Now, if Google wanted to be firm, and maybe this does exist, not sure, but when the only privileged results in a search should come from companies who pay for it, and if they do pay for it, Google should have a special surcharge from companies wishing to appear above Google services in that specific search.

One more thing...some online postings don't reveal the company hiring, but, if they do, access their website, pick 2 points about their company that requires yours skills (if possible) and give your point of view as if you already worked for them, of course don't be negative, maybe even just compliment the situation. From a restaurant perspective, a cover letter can be the deciding factor before performance is proven. Some employers don't require them, but most will. Its your chance to show communication skills and possibly spark interest before your resume is viewed.
