Worst advice I've ever received. For my first job interview in the tech field, I wore a jacket and tie. Every guy in the place had his sandals up on his desk. I also said 'no, thanks' when offered a beverage, and I think I came off as someone who was there to audit the place.
People can make all kinds of noise, but unless people put their money where their mouth is and begin to put real economic pressure on the airlines, who would in turn pressure Washington to do something about the TSA, I don't want to hear it.
I shouldn't have to ignore anything. I'm there to buy books and cases of Cafe Bustelo, not to see what others are doing with their money or what others think of the coffee I'm buying.
The fact that there are reviews of 'five star' packages of diapers on Amazon is a little disturbing.
