http://www.twlng.com is buffer for content, i.e. post, schedule, manage Tweets with > 140 characters.
We've seen little traction despite being featured here on HN and ProductHunt, what steps would you advise following to get more users, considering we have 0 cash and are bootstrapping this as a side project?
The main difference between Twenth (which was recently sold on Flippa) and http://www.TwLng.com, is the content scheduling via a Calendar, the queue & circle data structures and the Twitter marketing tools.
Having reviewed Twenth, its acknowledged that the design is similar, but the request for design assistance will take this in a difference direction.
TwLng is Buffer for Content with six main features:
1. Post content to Twitter that is longer than 140 characters
2. Add content to a queue for posting later.
3. Add content to a 'circle' for posting later.
4. Schedule post times using a calendar.
5. Follow users / favorite tweets based on a query from a calendar view.
6. Save drafts.
A circle is a queue where items are not popped - when the pointer reaches the end of the queue, it is reset back to the first element.
TwLng was originally designed to enable long Twitter content to be created and shared.
We've now updated this to enable:
- Save drafts
- Schedule content publishing using a calendar view
- Add content to one of five queues
- Add content to one of five 'circles'
- Generate content from an RSS feed
- Generate content from Google News keywords
