fwiw, I tried something similar about 5–10 years ago. I wasn’t using LLMs like the abstract here suggests, and honestly, I’m not sure how you'd act on a signal fast enough with them. When I gave it a shot, there was some slight predictive value, but in the end it felt like noise and gambling, so I moved on.
This would've been a great product 10 years ago. I've unapologetically not had to use a search engine in almost a year (or at least can count on 1 hand having to use it) since GPT models have come out.

Every time I see something pertaining to a pomodoro timer, I'm reminded of interviewing with a YC founder in downtown san mateo in the early 2010s (he was working on websockets + slide deck/prezi-like tech iirc), and half our interview consisted of him hyping up this technique. I was once offered an engineering manager position at iridium (which i discussed here https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=41748519)-- that entire company is a race to reduce the bottom line. They offered me (an engineering manager to 5 engineers) a lower salary than I was offered as a new grad. Also their talent pipeline is quite stale, most of the engineers on my prospective team were at the org for 10-20 years. For such an interesting aspect of technology, it's ashame they can't attract more talent, such an untapped market low earth orbit satellite networks are...
You know the wierd thing is - I've never used Meta AI. I've never thought of using it. The only product of FB i use is whatsapp, however I've not seen/heard any of my friends using Meta AI for FB,IG,Whatsapp. I really don't understand what their ROI here is...
I'm not going to review the above, as I've had to much of DEI corp talk over the past decade. Given that, it’s likely no surprise that I’m glad to see it phased out. Throughout my experience, I witnessed underqualified engineers navigating FAANG companies due to DEI initiatives, accumulating significant wealth despite contributing little to released projects. I believe its departure is overdue.
I married into a wealthy-ish family, and this was probably my biggest disappointment. In my anecdotal experience, wealthier individuals lack humanity for others, are quite selfish, and lie through their teeth to make things go their way.
Candidly, I was a centrist before marriage, but I've become a strong advocate for socialism (and against late stage capitalism). The skills you need to be affluent (barring exceptions like FAANG founders) are skills no one should really cultivate.
