My factual posting of a "real" survey conducted by Indians in India about low quality of 90% of Indian developers was deleted from Hacker News You call this a free society ? Shame on you.
I am from India and recent survey said that 90% of college graduates in IT/Software in India are incapable of professional programming. Indian companies still hire these bad developers and train them for up to a year before letting them loose on the IT industry(gulp). Why don't you move to India and get into one of these training programs. You will have a job waiting for you in corporate India even if you don't improve.

Our project was outsourced to a barely literate group of developers overseas. The product quality was terrible. We moved the development back to the US, staffed it with competent native talent and got the project back on track. So much for outsourcing to the best and brightest "over there".
I am an Indian developer. I read somewhere that average IQ of the Indian population is 80. So my IQ is probably 80. How long will it take me to become a ninja/rock star programmer. I want to make a plan for becoming an expert.
