First time I hear about it, but just checked it out - seems pretty cool, but you still need to feed some model into it right? Many examples seem to use OpenAI.
I see a bunch of apps using LLMs popping out like mushrooms in a forest, but how do you fine-tune it for your dataset? The biggest (GPT-3 davinci) model on OpenAI is not available for fine-tuning.
Would be cool to know some technical details, like are you fine-tuning GPT-3 on Open AI or built something yourself on top of an open source pretrained model?

Skip a few years, my grandfather was the youngest doctor of science (in Russia that's next level from PhD) in his city in the field of Nuclear Physics and during his life was a dean in 3 different universities and a head of another one.
My 2nd grandfather was born in a village and had to tend for his younger sisters because his two older brothers were fighting in WW2 (and died there).
Skip a few years and he taught himself engineering and later became a head of a department in a big spaceship construction factory that employeed 10s of thousands of people, was doing research, travelled whole of soviet union overseeing testing of spaceship componponents.
Both died in poverty a few years ago: doing any government jobs in Russia is extremely unrewarding if you are an honest man.
(and here I am doing stupid crap in Javascript and Ruby earning 50 times what they did).
Most air conditioners I encountered (as a person from a cold country) had this option.

Try deploying NextJS yourself over multiple instances, you are soon going to learn that cache NextJS provides isn't shared across them via something like Redis (I think it's mostly shared on Vercel, but I don't know how they do it).
Aside performance, this has consequences because of their stale-while-revalidate technique for static pages in incremental regeneration. If cache becomes obsolete on 1 instance and it's revalidate on the next request, it's not revalidated on other instances, so users accessing them are going to see stale data until that instance itself does revalidation. Having even a percentage of pages showing stale data can be painful for certain scenarios.
NextJS users been asking for more flexiable caching for some time.
I think it's a pretty good example.
As for forking it, how many companies have enough resources and are willing to go that distance?
Next being owned by Vercel has a perverse incentice to push for features that are good for Vercel, like fast build times and very specific caching strategies, not for the features that developers actually want.
I remember when I was younger I would often work until 7am because due to startups nature the work includes a lot of communication with founders, and I myself used to live in Russia, while the startups were in San Francisco / Los Angeles.
Today, If I stay until 6am the next day I am almost guaranteed to have a headache and be worthless, but working in the evenings is still my prime time. My colleagues often tell me "dude, it's 11pm where you are at, go to sleep", but at this point that's my 2nd nature.
Still, many people in the same company manage to work the "normal" 8am-6pm days, so I guess to each their own.

None of my friends / relatives / acquintances supports this war (only my GF's mother). That is a piss-poor statistic, but the sad truth is that there simply cannot be any reliable sociology in a country where saying "no to war" leads to criminal prosecution.
I think it's also crucial, that from people who "support this war", most support the image they see on TV, not the real-world atrocities. Most of people who support this war think they are fighting "battalions of NATO soldiers from Poland" and a small group of nazis who threaten Ukraininan soldiers with death if they don't go into battle. For majority it's impossible to fathom fighting with brotherly Ukrainians.
