I keep seeing this again and again and it is really bothering me. Shouldn't it be "If the web had been patented"?
I'm no grammar nazi but I continue to notice more and more grammar errors. I specially notice that a lot of grammar mistakes are made with the word "was" like in the sentence above.
The thing is, now that it's been more than a year since Steve died people are looking for the first cracks. I myself believe that right now they are simply moving on momentum, I don't really think they have any thrust left. I hope I'm wrong though. Just a gut feeling.
