might be worth pointing out that this happened in Transnistria (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transnistria) a part of Moldova that has stronger political ties to Russia than to Moldova. It's complicated.
It is. So sorry about that. It was written as part of a "celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week" thing by Stripe and it was suggested that such a title would have more inspirational value. That's no excuse for that title and I apologize.
Move to Berlin and find a decent startup. Plenty of challenging jobs but more importantly you'll find there's a much better work-life balance. It's still up to you to put your time to good use.

For example a certain solr query that I use to test out different things, or a certain list of commands I need to run every 2-3 weeks to parse a log in a certain way.
Thing is most of us didn't come there for the prize. Personally I already had an idea in the back of my head, just went in to do an MVP(which I did) and in the process maybe meet some new people. But then ... the cleanberlin guy wins. Felt like ikea winning a furniture design and quality competition.
Also... wasn't it a bit weird how the guy had his wife and his kid just "around"? If I came in with his "idea", I wouldn't expect to win so I wouldn't bring in my wife and kid to witness it.
err... I took the languages list from a wikipedia page, not sure if it includes ALL the obscure languages but I saw something about phoenician, so I'm going to assume we have most of them covered. Problem is finding two people that are interested in said obscure language.
Yeah, this is a bit of a problem. I was thinking of adding a "suggested time" in the hopes that the few people visiting are at least online at the same time. I also added that notification by email if nobody found thing but I don't really see it as being the right solution.
