I worked in Symbolics with Flavors on a large mapping system, and had a good mentor. Was maybe 6 months time 27 years ago but it looms very large in my programming brain.
Anyway why am I sharing this with the community that knocked me down to -7?
so depressing.. I am inspired to create my own forum site like hackernews where I am not banned like I am here. My site would champion the individual and self-expression, and individual contribution over collective contribution.
I would take a road trip to Denver just to get stoned. Think about it. Change of scenery. For the $100/hr + driving and hassle you'll be spending on pychotherapy with odds are the wrong therapist + meds, seems like a premium room and mj tour of Denver is cheap and effective. Seattle probably sucks though.
