Shameless plug: If you’re looking for an online compiler specifically designed for conducting interviews in Clojure, you might find [0] very useful. It’s designed to streamline coding interviews with real-time collaboration features.
Looks similar to Fluid app but I hope it actually works. I bought Fluid app few days ago and I am not happy with it. The website in the app crashes after you put your mac to sleep few times.
Co-founder here. We charge because this is our full-time job. We will consider reducing price if our volume increases. Btw, I will be happy to discuss discounts for HNers if you email me at munir-at-remoteinterview-dot-io
Co-founder here. We don't delete but we suspend them if they are inactive for long. They are restored when you access them again. Though you have an option to delete machines.
Co-founder here. Thanks for the suggestion. Interviews for full-stack developer is a better use-case for this. For 'palindrome test' type interviews, we have https://www.remoteinterview.io/features-interview
We are trying to do same i.e. streamline the process. I do both take-home projects as well as pair-programming during screening. Take-home projects give me a big picture about candidates' ability to solve problems with software whereas pair-programming interviews tells me about his ability to think in terms of code at deeper level.
I developed few apps on WP few years ago and I realized that Metro design is very dictatorial in almost every aspect of design and UX. Almost everything is well defined that you can't come up with creative ideas. iOS on the other hand gives a very flexible environment (almost like a blank canvas) where you can come up with innovative UI controls.
