1)Your entire logical chain is premised off the fact that people don't make communal sacrifice in the generation of wealth. You pretend that only individual actors generate wealth.
Imagine a family running a small business or rental properties or whatever you can dream up, children are often employed and exert effort in overall progression of the business. Albeit some more than others, its not your place to demand that their efforts go unrecognized.
2) You can expand that mindset to indiviuals with healthy genes. It's an absolute lottery as to who will have a strong heart, full head of hair, great stature. Why not manage those factors too some day?
3) Your mindset will change with age and if your children grow to become functional members of society. You will desire to offer them an even greater opportunity to make a meaningful impact than you did or could.
Your mindset is that of a baby-boomer. I am wondering if you are one?

And why do you get to decide how that is done? Why not offer up all of your wealth to be managed on your behalf in the most fair and equitable method?
You utilizing the word "annoying" triggers me. I don't respect the underlying and implied racist/sexist usage that you created in your comment. Simply calling someone "annoying" is just a thinly veiled attempt at getting away with saying a word like "fag" or any another racial epithet. Just because someone annoys you, doesn't mean that you can strike them from the conversation. Just because you are a well-off, privileged male, don't forget that not that long ago African-Americans and Homosexuals "annoyed" you too.
Anyways, I just wanted to jump in and add noise to the discussion by nitpicking like jasode too!
1) If an employee doesn't pay taxes its because the employer doesn't retain it & report it. So it cannot be the immigrants "usually" paying the taxes but the employer failing to. One begets the other. The rate of employers paying will always be higher than the employee paying.
2) You imply that under the table work pay isn't an agreement between employer/employee. Nobody wants to pay taxes. Especially once you are making at or near minimum wages. At this level every cent counts as a larger percentage of income relative to someone like you.
3) Often times in practice, non-reported compensation is a benefit to both parties. The worker retains ~15% of his income that would otherwise be lost to taxation. The employer does the same.
One mans profiteering is another mans profiteering.
The overarching problem is the rate of taxation on lower income individuals.
Think beyond federal income taxes and into state income taxes, sales tax, land tax, license renewals, vehicle registration, traffic tickets, etc. Rapidly you realize that individuals are constantly making payments to various entities that are generating income for the government. This impacts low income, low skill workers the most. Consider the disparity of a low income worker and a middle income worker as a percentage of income per week lost to taxes. $100 for vehicle registration or 10% in federal taxes or 9% sales tax on purchases. What is 4% of your income could easily be 20% of someone else.
You think it's wise to combat a SUV's worth of fuel with a fire extinguisher that fits in your car, on the side of the road? You think that a first aid kit was going to do anything more than what you could do with your bare hands or a t-shirt for an unconscious, self-pissing trauma victim?
Hopefully as you age and move out of your sheltered life experiences you can realize that trolling gets old after awhile.
