Initially, I was self conscious when I walked around with them and talked to people, but now I have no problems wearing AirPods Pro all day and talking to people with them on (Via Transparency Mode)
They work great for phone calls, music listening, noise cancellation is great, too.
Maybe not as good as Sony, but as an overall product, I love them and would buy them again in a heartbeat.
I got a 2015 Air with 8 gigs of ram. I'm wondering whether to pull the trigger on the 16" or endure more pain for the next several months to see what else comes out.
Has anyone upgraded from an older Air to a 16"? Is the increase in performance more like a "OMG" or "Not bad"?
I'm actually planning to build a native OSX app. Would love to talk more about your needs/pains. Shoot me an email if you get a chance. My email is in my profile.
"I cringe at the hassle my American friends have to go through whenever they travel through a densely-packaged country region such as Europe"
As an American citizen who's been to over 60 countries and as someone who's currently traveling through Europe, I've been treated with nothing but warmth and welcoming attitude by immigration (and other) officials.
I've been traveling full time for the past 5-6 years ever since leaving a full time job in Silicon Valley. I've lived pretty much all over the world (now based in Eastern Europe).
I probably only make about $20-$25k a year off a few low maintenance projects, taking up random contracting gigs when I feel like.
The experience of seeing new places and meeting new people is priceless. No amount of money, equity or incentives can ever make up for that.
If I could change one thing, it would've been quitting my full time job even earlier.
