I'd say that is dealer specific, I purchased a new Impreza in September of 2021, my specific trim and options weren't on the lot, and was easily given a factory order.
Got a '22 Impreza Sport Hatchback with no hassle, would easily recommend this dealer again.
Seems to be the case on the Impreza forum too, as most owners are buying factory orders from the dealers, with a few saying that the dealer only sells Imprezas thru custom orders.
As for other models, that may be different. My family had no issue with getting a Forester.
I didn't think I'd use it a load when I pre-ordered mine, but I figured it would be great for use when I went to my girlfriend's home, or to visit my own family, and not lug a laptop or PC.
Boy I was wrong, I've used it in bed, on planes, couch, and over lunch. Heck, I even convinced my girlfriend to buy one so she could play games with me, and we not worry about Linux/windows compatibility between our computers, let alone this being her first gaming 'computer' to begin with.
In case anyone doesn't know, there is only one company that this law would apply to - Disney. No other copyright would be shorted. It is the only company with the classification and market cap that is stated in the bill.
I think the copyright law does need to be revised. But making it apply to only Disney, as Hawley is intending, doesn't fix the system. Just makes another problem to sort when it will need to be fixed.
I would like to point out that it does vote against 'the popular vote' as both Bush jr. and Trump were elected without the popular vote (though during Bush's second bid for president he won the popular vote by less than 3%) [a]
Yet for many people, where they live isnt a choice, or their method of transport. Most of the US undeniably has poor public transport, and the only realistic means of travel for a day to day work schedule is via automobile.
I have a '22 Impreza, with a 5speed and the only internet connected thing is the headunit. However the headunit does communicate with the rest of the car for say: tpms, oil level, and for maintenance. While I surely would love to have full access to the data, since the car is extremely analog, it takes minimal maintenance and maximum fun, I haven't been too worried. Otherwise, the telemetrics I would vastly prefer to see opened to the public.
Before OBD2, you were at odds with diagnostic software to troubleshoot vehicular problems. Mechanics, third parties, and owners could not use the onboard computers to resolve issues with the car, or emissions.
OBD2 as is required by the NHTSA, enables anyone with a scanner to view the diagnostic information, as well as the state of variables on a running engine. Say what you will about electric cars, but any vehicle with a standard diagnostic port is easily able to be worked on.
With modern telematics, and datapoints that the manufacturers have been able to record, giving the ability to access thay information to third party repair and the customers, you can have more choice, and get this, ability to have repairs done.
Dealers are not anywhere near always the best place to get a car repaired. In 10 years time, when the new cars age, they will need repair and maintenance that the dealer may overcharge for. If I had to service both of ny cars at the dealership, oil changes would cost me 3 times as much as I can do myself, brakes cost 2 times as much as a local shop can perform. Dealers don't provide a greater service to a vehicle than a standard mechanic shop can provide other than verified manufacturer parts at markup.
I don't know if it's nostalgia, but I don't recall having performance issues. The graphics were definitely pushing the console to its limits, and I can easily see it dropping frames.
I love this game, I still play it on the original hardware, a still functioning Fat PS2. Beautiful game, and honestly deserves a play from all, whether that be through an emulator or a remake.
The soundtrack is also one of the best pieces that I've gotten on my iPod.
I can't stop peaking praise for Shadow of the Colossus.
As a Missourian, and former Education sector employee, the handling of the situation shoes how terrible Parson is as a governor, and how even after the past two scandals, whether it be the opposing candidate, no one will pull him out of office.
Not parent but, my girlfriend sent it to me after I sent her wordle a while back.
So far, after the past two days I've played, I got both countries on the first try. I love geography and history, and this has been a fun game while I wait for unit tests.
Circumcision is a form of genital mutilation. Societies have done it in the past and present. Many societies have outlawed or otherwise restricted female gential mutilation, why can the same not be done for males in the same Developed world?
It's been well documented that the large set back front yards and loads of anti-pedestrian designed neighborhoods and towns have largely been the cause for issues relating to poor public transportation, heat island effects, and less affordable housing.
You can have nice gardens, double parking spots & a garage without the same designed towns and neighborhoods. Most often is done by limiting street parking, narrower streets, and using the rear-entrance drives and lots as done in many cities.
Those designs also enable more pedestrian friendliness vs. the suburban sprawl that is effectively carpeting the U.S. and Canada since the 40's.
I work for an ISP, and when we provision land lines, its a sort of handshake between the device and our network. Due to older dumbphones provisioning requiring minimal effort, it seems that they don't require the same tools. BlackBerry devices however are running a full-fledged OS that requires support. Since the affected devices are at latest from 2013, it seems reasonable that most of those affected have moved off of said devices.
